DIET

It is herbivorous and appreciates many plant species, grazing as it moves around 12 hours per day.
It helps keep the grass short and green.
 

Habitat - lifestyle

The Tarpan is a wild horse from Poland living on the plateaus. It is courageous and independent.
Tarpans withstand temperatures below minus 20 degrees and love grazing in flooded areas.

It bears great resemblance to Przewalski’s horse.
This breed is now extinct. It was re-established from the Konik pony.
There are 2 types: the Steppe Tarpan and the Forest Tarpan.
