LIFESTYLE

They are sedentary.
They tend to be seen at dusk but also in the middle of the day sometimes. They can lead a solitary life, in pairs or family groups (herds) consisting of one or several female kids and their young. Generally speaking, herds of 10-15 individuals only form in autumn and winter. Beyond the rutting period, bucks are solitary creatures.
