Habitat

This goat lives in arid, rocky or sandy mountains in North Africa.
 

DIET

The Barbary sheep is herbivorous. It feeds on grasses, sparse weeds, leaves and young acacia branches and lichen.

It lives for about 20 years
Sexual maturity : 2 years
In the mating season at the start of autumn the males engage in violent fighting to possess females.
Gestation : 160 days
Litter : 1 to 2 young
