Reeves’s pheasants congregate on the high wooded hills of central China, north of the Yangtse River.
They are found at altitudes varying from 800 to 2,000 m in small bouquets or families that disperse in spring.
The female lays 7 to 15 eggs. The incubation period is from 24 to 25 days.
